Did you know that espresso isn’t spelt with an X?
CATS ARE THE EVILEST EVIL THAT HAS EVER EVILLED ON OUR PLANET.
Or it might be that they’re so dang cute and I want to be always petting them, but then my hands would be covered in hives and I wouldn’t be able to do that thing that I believe is called “breathing”
There are, in fact, many things worse.
1. Falling in a volcano.
2. Breaking down on the side of the highway while there’s a snake in your car.
3. Being kidnapped by a Columbian drug lord.
5. Waking up and finding an enormous pimple on your face when you’ve got a big first date that day.
6. Teeth. Not the teeth in your mouth, that movie about teeth. In your… Y’know.
theowlsperch just asked me what I’m most excited for in art school. I really like that question, but I, being a fool, answered it privately. So here’s my answer:
Collaboration. I was at Waterloo for two years, and I never really found a community of people who were just excited about the prospect of making things. Who really *got* what I was about. That’s nothing against the friends I’ve made here, they’re wonderful and lovely and literally the best people I’ve ever met. But I don’t always feel like I can have a far-too-in-depth conversation about Moonrise Kingdom with them without feeling more than a little pretentious. And I’m excited to spend four years with those people.
Something something something alternator. I’ve made it to a Canadian Tire and I’m hoping they’re about to tell me!
Yikes. That’s a scary question. My ultimate dream job would be a film director. Realistically, I understand that it might now work out or be a good choice at all, but I feel like I have a few good things in me that I’d like to put out there.
Ooh! This is a good one. I frickin’ LOVED everything about YuGiOh. The show, the cards, the cards, the abridged series. That’s probably my top show.
As for movies, I seem to recall having embarrassingly poor taste. I really didn’t get The Matrix, which I’ve recently gone back and watched and it is SPECTACULAR. If I had to pick one that was my favourite as a kid though, it would probably be some of the old Pixar ones. Definitely The Incredibles.
